From January 4 - 8 2017, hundreds of student journalists from across Canada will gather in downtown Fredericton for the Canadian University Press' 79th annual national conference. At NASH 79, students will hear from leaders in the industry and learn the latest trends in reporting, photography, multi-media and design.

START-UP, this year's theme, speaks to the changing state of the journalism industry, where journalists have to be comfortable with different tasks and taking non-traditional career paths. Along with keynotes and seminar presentations, NASH 79 will also include panel discussions, critiques of student work, the JHM Award Ceremony and nightly social activities.
